/* Written 11:50 pm Oct 31, 1985 by jbuck@epicen.UUCP in ccvaxa:net.news */ /* ---------- "mod -> fa switchover: several issue" ---------- */ with no discussion. As a result of this, Erik was all ready to gateway a group that discusses Gould bugs into mod.computers.gould (I can see why: /* End of text from ccvaxa:net.news */ Speaking of which, I've been watching all the new mod.* groups popping up here for mod.computers.gould ever since a former co-worker now at BBN told me it was supposed to be added. But now the new list of groups has been posted, and I see no sign of it on said list. How come? This site is part of Gould's Computer Systems Division, and we have five Gould machines running UNIX here. Also, the people at Fort Lauderdale (UTX development, customer service, etc.) have Usenet connections, but (as far as I know) no ARPAnet connection. Some developers read the BSD bugs notesfiles/newsgroups and would read a Gould bugs notesfile if it were available to them. "When you are about to die, a wombat is better than no company at all."
