Hi there... I am trying to get overlays to work in X11R4 and am having some trouble. I can allocate the colors fine, and everything seems to work, until I draw into the overlay plane. At that point, the only things I see are the things that are drawn into that plane (all things beneath disappear), and the color that is drawn is different than the color allocated. Any ideas what the problem could be? Any sample code (other than pages 202-207 Vol. 1 of O'Reilly)? any help would be appreceiated... thanks, ron conti (rwc@uci0.mitre.org)
