I need to find a couple of people who: (1) use xtex (2) use NeWS/X (OpenWindows?) on Sun machines (3) have the Athena widgets installed (4) use postscript via 'psfig' in their TeX documents (5) have time to kill Someone sent me the patches for OpenWindows postscript support for Xtex. I want to insure that I didn't break things when I patched it in (already found a couple of my mistakes), and that it's sufficiently general. The current tar of SeeTeX-2.16.2.tar on foobar.colorado.edu has that code in it; please snag it, try it and send me comments. Other things to try are the NoImake installation option and automatic font installation (See Install-2.16.2.ps and Imake.Config for info). If you're not interesting in testing it, please don't get 2.16.2 yet, it'll be released as 2.17 when it's working properly.

As a general rule, it would be useful if people offering ftp-able code would give the dotted-decimal addresses as well as names since Internet name-servers have a distressing habit of being incomplete. In this specific case I can't find a name-server that knows about foobar.colorado.edu. Chris Flatters
