Is anybody else getting mangled stuff in comp.sources.x besides me? For example, part 2 of the dbiff posting is missing stuff at the end, except that the signature stuff is there at the end. It's as if something took a bite out of the posting. Also part 1 of dbiff doesn't unshar happily without some editing. I find it hard to believe that the moderator of comp.sources.x is simply posting stuff without at least unshar-ing them to make sure that they're complete and not mangled, so I guess something somewhere along the way is mangling them.

I must apologise for my shar file for xdrop (recently posted). I forgot to delete the executable before running shar. It causes an error message when unsharing, but otherwise things seem OK. Is this the sort of mangling you meant? Mark.
