Hmm, Dirt is a research project and as such may never officially get to Beta. Currently my plans are for a second public alpha release that will include the Motif widget set and of course there may be a third with Open Look widgets. After this may come a beta release. I think its quite important to get Motif included as this will open its audience quite a bit and prove I got my design right. Dates for any of these are Xified .. i.e. "this yearish". I'm always pleased to receive bug reports or moans about the design like .. "its too difficult to do XXX". I've had a lot of positive feedback (thanks everyone) but how about the negative ..
