Hi xperts, Does anybody know something about X and real-time; I mean ports of X (libs and server) on top of real-time operating systems and extensions to support real-time concepts in X (e.g. priority of windows) Thank you. Pascal.

If you have access to last year's Xhibition '90 proceedings, there a paper "The Application of Real-Time Paradigms to the X Window System" that describes what RealTimeX contains. There will also be a paper at Xhibition '91 (I haven't finalized the title) that describes the current state of the project.
