I was very excited to hear that GINA is now available in the public domain. I am currently involved in developing a CLOS application and I am looking for an easy object-oriented UI development environment to use in my application. I'll be very grateful if someone can help me in the following: 1. I have spent the past three weeks trying to compile Clue.7-20 and Clio on my machine. It is finally up and running. Since I went thru a lot of suffering, I hate to go throught this again. I am workin on a DEC 5000 machine with Lucid Common Lisp 4.0 (and Lucid CLOS). I have the motif toolkit and widgets but have never used them. Does this look like an environment on which I would not have major problems installing CLM and GINA? Are there any recommendations? Also, does GINA have better functionality than clio? 2. I actually tried to start working on installing CLM yesterday nigth. When I tried to 'make' in the server file. I got an error message that there is apparently something wrong in my Xm.h file. The message reads as follows: ;;; typedef XtPointer (*XmResourceBaseProc)(); ;;; function return value is wrong Since this was the first time for me to use motif, I gave up and quit (I do not have enough experience in X to let me dig in and try to find what is wrong). I only use the motif window manager (although I do not really get the top level menu of the manager, instaed I get a session manager. I gessued this is set up like this on the DEC 5000 machines. I might be wrong) 3. I could not print out the postscript documentation of GINA (although I could for CLM). Do I need to use any special swiches to print them out? I appologize if my questions are trivial. Thank you for any help. Thank you
