[comp.windows.x] Cockroaches

gregm@otc.otca.oz.au (Greg McFarlane) (03/01/91)

I'm looking for a program that is probably called xroach (if it exists).
It puts some cockroaches under your X windows and whenever you move a window
and expose them, they scurry about looking for another window to hide under.
I would imagine that as soon as they are exposed, they move in a random direction
and check if they are still visible. They keep doing this until they are not
visible. They could even be given enough intelligence to build up a map of where
they have been so they wouldn't have to backtrack. They could even be taught
to multiply? You would probably need xroachmotel to get rid of them.

Anyone seen such a beast? Is it ftpable?
