Hi, I am asking for help from all you Xperts out there. I am looking for a X program which - displays all processes running on the system in a tree like structure regarding their relationships(parent, children), - sends signals(such as KILL) to the process, - and finaly, runs in real time, obviously. This program is very useful for system administrator. For example, for run away processes, he/she doesn't have to type "ps"(sorry, forgot to mention this is for UNIX environment) to get PID and to "kill -9" it, instead, couple mouse clicks will do all these work for him/her. Has anyone had done this kind of or similar work before? If yes, could anyone send me information regarding the software(name?, ftp?, $?, login?, ....)? If no, well, any suggestion/idea? We here run 4.3BSD UNIX, SunOS, X11R4/R3, OpenWindows2.0, Motif? well, haven't been installed yet, but should be soon. Software written in XView or SunView is fine too. Hardwares includes SUN3&4, Gould NP/1, SPARC 1, more? can't tell you :-) You may reply either to me or to this group.
