Is there any way I can get hold of all the exciting things you people are talking about without having to use ftp - something like the xstuff mail server but for sources? We are currently only connected to the rest of the world by Email, with ftp coming soonish. Cheers, Maldwyn GT Morris morris@etseccpb.upc.es ( UPC, Barcelona, Spain ). My only opinion is that Im bored of disclaimers and so is my organization.

There are several sites (e.g. uunet) that maintain caches of
comp.sources.x and the contrib directory from expo.lcs.mit.edu, and
make them available via UUCP, either anonymously or to their clients.
That way you would pay fairly for the cost of the file transfer,
rather than depending upon the people along your mail path.
