As anyone gotten xkal (#define XKAL_VERSION 1.12) to compile? It has "extern String XtCXtToolkitError" in string-convert.c, but I can't seem to find this anywhere in the source (including the include files). I'm guessing that this should be defined in <X11/StringDefs.h>, but it isn't in mine. Any help appreciated (please e-mail unless you deem this "general interest"). We're still using the beta release and I understand that there has been some major improvements. The last part of the compile goes like this: rm -f xkal gcc -DNOSTDHDRS -fstrength-reduce -fpcc-struct-return -fwritable-strings -tradit ional -o xkal -g xkal.o month.o day.o edit.o edit-defaults.o db.o util.o date- strings.o resources.o string-convert.o dysize.o strcasecmp.o -L/u/project/new- stuff/ezMenu -lezMenu-mc68020 -lXaw -lXmu -lXt -lXext -lX11 string-convert.c:36: Undefined symbol _XtCXtToolkitError referenced from text se gment string-convert.c:24: Definition of symbol _XtStringConversionWarning (multiply d efined) Converters.o: Definition of symbol _XtStringConversionWarning (multiply defined) *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `xkal' Thanks for any help, Darrell -- James Darrell McCauley (jdm5548@diamond.tamu.edu, jdm5548@tamagen.bitnet) Spatial Analysis Lab, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas 77843-2117, USA
