After all this time, there are *still* machines out there that are generating those pesky "orphaned response" articles. If *your* machine appears on this list of "bad guys", you may want to throw out that obnoxious old notes software and get some obnoxious new notes software to replace it. This will spare you the kind of ridicule you so richly deserve. THE BAD GUYS: cernvax hpcnof hpcvra hpfcmt hpltca inmet prism ritcv THE GOOD GUYS: everyone else P.S. Please don't ask me where to get the good notes software. I don't know and I don't care.

FYI, the latest and greatest notesfile can be obtained either through Lou <salkind@NYU.ARPA> or myself. You may stop using news after trying it. //Z\\ James M. Ziobro Ziobro.Henr@Xerox.ARPA {rochester,amd,sunybcs,ihnp4}!rocksvax!z

Try Ray Essick at the University of Illinois (ihnp4!uiucdcs!essick). The latest versions are much more clever about assigning names to foster parents of late-arriving children. -- scott preece gould/csd - urbana ihnp4!uiucdcs!ccvaxa!preece
