[comp.windows.x] Thanks

mason@anubis.uchicago.EDU.CSNET (03/18/87)

I would like to thank everyone for their helpful comments regarding getting
rid of the windows. I had figured it would be something straightforward and
I wasn't disappointed.

Thanks to everyone who answered my desperate plea for help with compiling
X11R3 with gcc 1.30. I compiled server/os/4.2bsd/oscolor.c with standard
SunOS cc, and the rest with gcc 1.31. I also installed the Purdue
speedups, and now the server just screams right along.

Thanks again, and if I have any more problems, I now know where to go. 8-)
