Hi!
I'm tentatively planning to write a constraint widget for laying out data
flow diagrams and Booch diagrams as part of my dissertation work. In additio
I plan to write a (very small) set of widgets for use with this constraint
widget, including a Booch "package" widget.
I've written a few small widgets already, so I know there's a great deal of
work ahead. That's why I want to make sure I get a solid design specification
before I begin coding! :) Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to what
this widget set should look like? The layout algorithm utilized by the
constraint widget will be a large part of my research, so I don't really need
too much help there. What I'm really looking for is suggestions as to what
features would be helpful to the applications programmer looking to build his
own CASE tool with these widgets.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might wish to e-mail me! I won't
be able to answer until the middle of next month (hey, it's Spring Break! :) ),
so if you come up with any hot inspirations for my widget while at the beach,
please let me know!
