Hi, I've run into a strange problem while porting the recent posting of xxgdb to our SystemV 68k box. I'm using getcwd to emulate the calls to getwd, but our implementation uses popen on 'pwd'. Whenever I tested the program it mysteriously exited on the getcwd call. No errors, just exited. I worked arounf getcwd using a call to system(2) but I got the same results. It seems that system(2) may also be implemented with pipes. Where is the problem here? Does the Xt-initialization cause our pipes to fail? Has anyone seen anything like this?
