Re: article "State of X" in March 1991 issue of Personal Workstation I'm intere sted in learning more about programming X and obtaining source codes via FTP. I'm evaluating Apple's A/UX 2.0 with X11.4 on a Mac IIfx and Interactive's UNIX/386 on IBM PC clones (lowest of the low end). I'm very impressed with A/UX performance using TWM and Xt "widgets" appears to be easier to use than the so-called "Mac OS/toolbox". Interactive's VGA displays are equally impressi ve, but its mouse/user interaction is sluggish at best. I want to learn more. Source code of the examples would seem the best place to start.
