We have a couple of PS/2 Model 80's around in our office that are pretty much idle most of the time. I am curious about whether it is possible to use them as X terminals, i.e., run X programs on them, with some UNIX machine being the server. The PS/2's themselves run MS-DOS, and have 2 MB memory. What kind of software is available for this, and what kind of changes will need to be made on the PS/2 (like, for example, will it be necessary to run some flavor of UNIX on the PS/2 itself ?) in order to use them as X terminals ? Thanks in advance. V. Visweswaran vishy@catinhat.princeton.edu viswswrn@phoenix.princeton.edu
