Hi, I have discovered strange behavior in xclock (and the xclock widget?). I am running on a Sun Sparcstation 1, running SunOS4.1, X11R4. When I reset the system time using the rdate or date commands, xclock can suddenly freeze up and stop keeping time. This seems to happen when the rdate command results in the system time being reset backward -- forwards does not seem to be a problem. Xclock then begins keeping time again when the system time reaches the time at which xclock is frozen. Is this a feature? If so, what is the rationale for it? It kind of reminds me of the "Amtrak Technique" during the changeover from daylight savings time where they stop all the trains for one hour when the clocks are reset!
