Could anyone help me find any pointers to either public domain or commercial software packages for Image Processing? The software has to be usefull in teaching students about this material, rather than in any professional context. Any help would be very much appreciated. In case anyone's interested, EOSAT distributes a decent basic image processing system for about US$300 (or that's what it was the last time I saw a price). It runs on PCs with VGA type displays.
