Are there Digital RPC's that match Sun RPC's? Can anyone lead me to information that will allow a Sun RPC program to be compiled on a vaxstation (unix)?? purpura@ncf.al.alcoa.com Mike

Sun RPC is freely available in source form from titan.rice.edu [128.42.1.30]. I have no idea how hard it is to port to VAX/Ultrix. Chris Flatters

SunRPC has normally been distributed with a 4.3BSD VAX as its reference platform. Note, however, that DEC may want to convince you to use DCE instead (once it's available on their machines). Carl P.S. This has marginal connection to X. I've redirected followups to comp.unix.ultrix.
