Hi, I have heard that an X application exists for time tracking - ie you click on one of a number of buttons in a window to indicate your current activity (phone, lunch, learning, reading - or whatever). Then, at the end of the day the application saves in a disk file the data of how much time has been spent on each activity However such an application is not to be found on the R4 contrib tape and I cant find any trace of such a tool elsewhere. Anyone here know where I can get it? Does it really exist? Thanks ALan Trevennor. -- A child of init.

I have written one like this, which I called TIMEX. It provides you with a list of projects, you click on one, and it counts up minutes and hours until you click on another one. It also has buttons for adjusting the times. However, it does not write anything to disk. If enough people are interested, I might post it - or finish it. Hi Harald, I would be very much interested in seeing what you have so far, as well as encouraging you to complete it! Many thanks Alan Trevennor -- A child of init.
