Has anyone had any experience with performance improvements in the client-server interface. Specifically, when the client-server interface is between two processors over a VMEbus, has anybody done anything about removing the overhead associated with TCP/IP. For instance has anyone implemented a shared memory interface between VMEbus-local client server interfaces. Daryl Huff Hughes Aircraft Co.
