[comp.windows.x] Keysyms for 3270 style keyboards - Is there any such animal ???

cah@pdx.csd.mot.com (Chris Huey) (03/29/91)

OK. I've checked the FAQ and didn't see any mention of what I am asking. I've
looked in keysymdef.h and didn't find it.

Is there an "official" definition for 3270 keys defined in X11R5? For example,
there are KeySyms for "Clear" (0xFF0B), "Print" (0xFF61), etc. But what about
other 3270 functions such as (but not limited to):

	Attention SysReq Cursor Select
	Erase Input Erase EOF Ident
	Test Device Cancel Reset
	PA1 PA2 PA3
	Dup Field Mark

If I have an X display station with a keyboard that contains these keys, what
should their keysyms be?

Am I making myself clear? (It is late in the afternoon!-)
