[comp.windows.x] TWM Minor Bug ?

amir@pilat.Israel.Silvaco.COM (Amir J. Katz (Xpert)) (04/02/91)

I'm not sure whether the following is a bug or a missing feature, but it's sure
a nuisance:

When I tell twm to re-read .twmrc (that is, to restart), mapped windows
re-appear correctly (same size, same position).
However, all the iconified windows reappear as icons (that OK) but are placed
on the top left corner of the root window, instead of their previous locations.

Specifying 'RestartPreviousState' in .twmrc does not seem to help.

I'm using MIT's X11R4 on SparcStation IPC w/SunOS 4.1.1.

Please email to me, using the address below (as my mail headers suck).
