[comp.windows.x] X11R4 on an HP9000/360

rkz@scrc.symbolics.COM ("Randolph K. Zeitvogel") (04/03/91)

I am running under HP/UX 6.5, and built an X11R4. When I try to
start it, clients claim that they can't open the display.

Quick examination reveals that it is creating something (I'm
not sure that its a socket) called 0 in the directory
/usr/spool/sockets/X11. This entity is linked to 'lsd0'
in the directory /tmp/.X11-unix (lsd is the node's name).

What gives? and thanks in advance.
