a first attempt to running xview clients on an apollo proved to be unsucessful as the clients were unable to find the appropriate fonts. no big surprise, right? my question to the x(view)perts out there is what is the fix in order to get the right font description to the clients. should one link back to the openwin fonts and play with the fonts.alias file?? or, should one just copy over the fonts directory?? please post or mail as you see fit. thanks in advance .vp p.s. by the way the apollos are running an r3 server; the openwindows(2.0) stuff is running on an SS2.
