Running: SunOS 4.1.1 with NIS on SparcStation 2's as dataless clients
Problem: Can't seem to get xdm(1) started. Dumps core and leaves errors messages of:
Fatal server bug!
no screens found
XIO: fatal IO error 54 (Connection reset by peer) on X server "(null)"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
XIO: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server "(null)"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or KillClient.
error (pid 933): Server for display unix:0.0 terminated unexpectedly
error (pid 1307): server open failed for condor:0.0, giving up
Comments: I know it is probably a simple correction in the Xservers file, but I cannot
get it to work. I have read xdm(1) and Xsun(1) but they haven't helped that much.
Any help would be appreciated!
