I'm back with more proof on the SCO XENIX upgrade....As I expressed on the previous comment about getting the SCO XENIX from a friend of mine. Now we found the *ORDER*. Based on the order he purchased SCO XENIX 386 $919.00 VP/IX UNLIMITED USER LICENSE $575.00 SCO WINDOWS $400.00 NETWORK 1 SERVER $360.00 SCO MANAGER FOR 386 $400.00 TOTAL $2654.00 Now they are very *unhappy* to allow me upgrade to version 2.3.2 with 50% off that means I have to pay at least $1,327.00 for upgrade to version 2.3.2 when *EVERYTHING* is still in *BOXES*. They give me 50% off with my threat to post my feeling toward SCO altitutes on the net. Thanks to the *POWER OF THE NET*. I'm expressing my feeling to my friend, and he is thinking about upgrading it for me. However, to my personal feeling, I think SCO should *REMOVE* their ads on *PCWEEK* and *UNIX TODAY* magazines. When I read their ads, It sounds so *GREAT* to me, but now whenever I see their ads I think they cheated us the customers. Does any SCO outhere would like to comment on this???????? ====================== Michael Burg (Phone) (505) 846-4294 ======================

I bought a 1986 Volvo brand new back in 1986. As it happens, I was busy with other things and did not drive it. Now I have time to drive it, but the SOBs want to charge me an arm and a leg for a 1991 Volvo. Should I sue them, make an ass of myself on the net flaming away, or remember not to buy what I don't need or be willing to pay the penalty? -- Randy Bush / news@psg.com / ..!uunet!m2xenix!news
