Hi all! This is my first post to this group so please excuse me if this has been asked already or if this is a real simple question that I am asking. My friend is trying to find BDF files so he can compile some fonts (He needs both 75dpi and 100dpi). He has the SDF (or is it SNF?) files (I'm not real familiar with X so please forgive my ignorance) and says he needs the BDF files in order to compile the fonts. He needs them for X11R4. If any one can be of any assistance, I'd appreciate it if you e-mail me. Is there an ftp site I can get these from? My friend has asked around at his school, but no one seems to know where the BDF files are located. What is he trying to do? He's running MacX on a Mac IIci and he's connecting to an RS6000. He's trying to run Wingz and is getting messages about not finding Adobe fonts. So he's trying to compile the fonts, but needs the BDF files. (Am I making any sense???????) If someone can provide some insight into this problem, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help.
