I am having a problem apparently at random that terminates my program with the following message: X Protocol Error detected by server Bad links request Link incorrect Internal Xlib error Failed request X_ImageText8 This is on a DECstation 3100 running Ultrix. I think this error is generated on a call to drawing XDrawImageString. Does anybody know anything about this? What is a bad link error? Thanks for any help. -- Daniel (ddee@vicorp.com)

Can you post source code that causes this? -- Ken Lee DEC Western Software Laboratory, Palo Alto, Calif. Internet: klee@wsl.dec.com uucp: uunet!decwrl!klee
