[comp.windows.x] xrn problem

This may be a slightly inappropriate news-group but...

I recently installed xrn on my sgi machine. When I attempt
to post test articles I get an error message like this:
"Serious Error: 141 inews: No title". I can find no obvious
problems, but my initial installation
of inews/rrn/rn was not entirely standard as far as file
locations go. However, as you can see, posting with Pnews works fine.
I am not running nntpd on my machine.

Any suggestions from X-perts would be appreciated.

I believe the problem is you aren't specifying a Subject in your article,
or if you are you should make sure that you leave a space after the colon.
It seems to me that I have seen this problem where you must leave a space
after the colon, otherwise it won't recognize it.

  ie:

    Subject: this is my subject
            ^

Does anyone know why this is?

I recently installed xrn (version 6.13) on my system. It crashes very often
(every 5 minutes) with one of the following messages:
"Caught signal(11), cleaned up .newsrc and removed temp files"
				or
"Warning: Can't translate event through NULL table"

Does anyone heard about a fix or a newer version (where can I ftp it) ?
