[comp.windows.x] Books on Motif/Xt programming?

arvind@rcsunb.gmr.com (Arvind Sabharwal) (04/09/91)

Does anybody have a list of books about motif programming? I have heard
about the Douglas Young book and (recently) Thomas Berlage book.
Any opinions on these or other books?

There is a monthly posting called the "X technical bibliography" which
gives an annotated bibliography of many X related articles and books.
If you look at it you might be able to answer your own question.

I am looking for a good reference book on Motif.
Which one is better, the one from O 'Reiley or the one from OSF?
