I am trying to compile interviews (version 2.6) using g++ (version 1.39.0) on a sun sparcserver II. A compiled g++ ok and created a configuration file iv/src/config/sparc.cf, I am using the CC driver that comes with interviews and did a 'ln -s gcc-cc1plus cc1plus' so the CC driver could find the compiler. When I compile interviews I get lots of 'previous declaration of <symbol> errors' mostly between /usr/include/X11/Xlib.h and iv/src/InterViews/X11/Xlib.h I looked at Xlib.h and it includes X11/Xlib.h !! Anyone what to point me in the right direction. Is g++ 1.39.0 not compatible with interviews 2.6 or am I fundamentally misguided. *ANY* help would be appreiated.
