I recently posted: >What's happening is that I can use XmStringCreateLtoR to create an >XmString and set a label. So far, so good. However, when I try to >use XmStringGetLtoR to retrieve that label, I always get back a null >string! >I'm about to make a test case now using a UIL-created label widget My test case that did *not* use UIL set and retrieved labels correctly, but a similar test case using a push button widget created with UIL returned the null label string. So, is there a solution to this? I really need to get at those label values. This is my first time using UIL, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong? I can set the labels from within my code, but can't retrieve them. thanks for any and all assistance, carol Carol Chapman Tel.
