[comp.windows.x] xclock does'nt show correct time

kobetitsch@picker.picker.com (harry kobetitsch) (04/16/91)

I am using X-Windows that comes with Interactive UNIX Workstation
Developer System. For the last few months previous to April 7,1991
the xclock client application ran fine. On April 8, 1991 I noticed
that xclock was displaying the wrong time (ie it was an hour behind).

I checked the system and it knew the correct time. Then I ran xinit
then xterm and then ran xclock. In xterm I set the date to see if
it would make a difference on xclock. It did not. It is determined
to show Eastern Standard Time rather than Eastern Daylight Time.

Can anybody provide input as to what is wrong ?
