[comp.windows.x] using xedit from within xrn 6-15

I am using xrn 6-15, and it works fine.  in my .Xresources, I 
have set the xrn editor command to use xedit like this:

XRn.editorCommand:      xedit %s

But when I go to post an article, or reply to one, or do anything 
that requires xedit to be invoked, it pops up as though it 
is ignoring all of its resources that were loaded in by xrdb!!

1.	its buttons are all the wrong size.
2.	its buttons have names on them, but they are internal names that 
	are defaulted to when a button has no name.
3.	the size of the xedit window is really small and stuck in the corner
	of the screen.

This is all very wierd.  Running xedit from the prompt works fine.  
Running it from within xrn 6-15 is a mess.  

Any help will be appreciated.
