I am looking for application software (spreadsheets, word processors, graphics packages) that run under X. I am familiar with the FrameMaker and Interleaf document management systems, but these products are overkill for most applications. I'd like to hear some opinions on products that lie somewhere between FrameMaker and emacs. Products under development, public-domain software, etc. is also of interest; to my current knowledge, no such software exists, and I would very much like to be proved wrong here.
