I frequently run applications on a remote host. On my workstation I have added the name of the remote host via the session manager's "customize security" pull down window. The problem I have is that once I do this then ANY user on that remote host can write to my screen. Is it possible to specify that only processes under my username to be able to remotely write to my screen? __a__d__a__m__

Ultrix DECwindows, as well as most non-DEC X implementations, allow only per-host security. Some more secure authantication schemes are in development, but they are not widely available. -- Ken Lee DEC Western Software Laboratory, Palo Alto, Calif.
