We've just upgraded a bunch of our Sparc1's to Sparc2's running 4.1.1 and a couple of curious things have cropped up. I'd be much obliged if someone has also seen these oddities and if so are there fixes? - Runnning Xsun that was compiled under 4.0.3c causes the root window to be shifted left (with wrap around to the right) and does not cover the bottom of the screen. Xsun compiled under 4.1.1 is fine. I'd rather not have to keep both 4.0.3 and 4.1.1 executables of X Windows on our net. (Note the 4.1.1 executables will not run on 4.0.3 due to shared libs.) - Now when we run Sunview concurrently with the Xsun server built under 4.1.1 we get the following message in the console when the cursor passes from X to Sunview and back to X: HW cursor rop err 1 Has anyone else seen this message? Anyone have any ideas on what is generating this message and should I be concerned about it? Any help would be greatly appreciated... dan -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ "These walls that still surround me ~ ~ ~ Still contain the same old me ~ Dan Westerberg ~ ~ Just one more who's searching for ~ danw@tbird9.prime.com ~ ~ The world that ought to be" ~ ~ ~ - Neil Peart ~ Prime Computer, Framingham, MA ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
