Hello, I'm having a strange color problem with Sun Net Manager that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'm running the R4 server (patch level 18). I have OpenWindows 2.0 installed and use some of the applications and have no problems. Sun Net Manager has a graphing tool for looking at performance plots and the like. One of the options in this tool is to change the color of the plot for each host. This is done by popping up a menu that has squares of various colors. Choose the square with the color you want and the plot color changes. This naturally works fine running Sun's Xnews server. Under the R4 server, however, the squares in the menu are all either black or the olwm border color (in a seemingly random pattern). Choosing a square does result in the plot color changing correctly...but unless you have the various color positions memorized you're choosing blindly. Is there some difference in the color allocation schemes used in xnews and xsun that would explain this? Is there any way around the problem without source code to snm? I'd rather not have to use the xnews server since it is noticably slower on a color system. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
