We are having some problems with xterm at our site. We are running X11R4 under SunOS 4.1.1. Somtimes, when xterm is started it brings up a new window but dies immediately. Our network consists of several SPARC 1+ and Sparc 2 machines. The problem has been encountered mostly on the Sparc 2. It also occurs on the others. Has anyone encountered this problem before. Any help in fixing this problem will be muchly appreciated.
