We are evaluating the Megatek X-cellerator card in a Sparc station. So far it looks pretty good. What I am looking for is any experience you may have with this card, both good and bad. We are evaluating it in combination with ICS' Motif. I have had some dealings the their tech support, and have found them quite helpful. The card we are evaluting has 10Meg on board. This memory is supposed to be used by the X server in an intelligent way, (ie. I can preload pixmaps, it will store lots of server resources, etc). The installation was very straight forward, even with the fact that we were installing ICS' motif and the Megatek X11R4 software, it was just plug and play. -Larry
