Hi, I am trying to recompile the ice system (image composition system) by Roger Davis on a Sun4. I tried the binary, but unfortunetly, we don't have the libC.so library on our system. Is there a way to convert a .a library into a .so library? When we try to recompile the sources, the system hangs on the low level header files such as sundev/* or pixrect/* in /usr/include. Are special versions of these include files available for C++? Is there a command line switch that allows CC to ignore prototypes or do I have to hack all header files, so that they work correctly? By the way I changed NeWS/psio.h and this seems to work fine. Thanks, Jacky
