Hello Xperts, a friend of mine asked me the following questions: (any suggestion?) "Is there a commercial tool to create a custom graph editor that let the user interactively draw a graph where each node is represented by a named graphic icon connected to other icons by line segments? More precisely, we would like: - to define a small library of icons corresponding to object classes - let the user create instances of icons with arbitrary names - let the user create, save, load and edit a graph - let a program access a data structure representing the connections between objects - let a program dynamically choose another icon for a node (to highlight a node for instance) Thanks for your help. Francois." Thanks for him.

I am looking for a graphic editor which runs under X11, is suitable for handling graphs (i.e. networks of nodes and links), and is written in, or at least accessible by, LISP. Can anybody help? Any reply, via e-mail or to this newsgroup, will be greatly appreciated. Ariel Cohen Center for Machine Translation Carnegie Mellon University
