[comp.windows.x] X11R4 binaries for SGI

alc@athene.srl.ford.COM (Alan L. Clark) (06/04/91)

Are there any publicly available (ftp'able) X11R4 binaries
for the SGI? A scan of the FAQ list came up with nil.

Thanks in advance,

Howdy. I'd appreciate it if you could forward any X11 info you get concerning
the SGI.

			Thanks, Ralph

X11R4 binaries, libraries and the patches used to compile them (client
side only, no server code) under IRIX 3.3 are available by anonymous
ftp to fresnel.stanford.edu. Look in pub/4DX.

R4 clients can also be found on the standard IRIX 3.3 distribution
tapes along with the server. However, they are not installed by
default. You need to run a manual install to get them. Libraries are
also available from SGI on a separate X Developers tape.
