I am looking for a dvi viewer for VMS. I have TeX installed but no previewer. I often waste much paper on printing to see if the output is correct. I would welcome any source code or even image files if some could be found. There is a program called Xdvi that works under X11R4 but VAXes don't have the Athena widget set so it won't compile. I would appreciate any help. Bruce Owen Lee Brigham Young University Provo, Utah CAEDM system programmer/manager Email: lee@byuspock.byu.edu

DECUS TeX Collection (available at wuarchive.wustl.edu [128.252.135.4]) contains various DVI Previewers including XDVI for DECwindows and DVIDIS for VWS. You can also use DVIPS to first convert your .DVI into .PS file and view it with CDA viewer, though DVIPS is primarily for laser-printing and XDVI is much better. mako -- Makoto Shimojima Location DECnet/ESnet Bitnet Internet UoTsukuba: UTKBP::MAKO -N/A- mako@utkbp.dnet%kekux.kek.jp KEK: KEKVAX::MAKO MAKO@JPNKEKVX mako@kekvax.kek.jp UoIllinois: UIHEP::MAKO MAKO@UIUCHEPG mako@uihepa.hep.uiuc.edu Fermilab: FNAL::MAKO MAKO@FNAL mako@fnal.fnal.gov
