I have a Eten (BIG5) bitmap font in .bdf format and ZY.tit input table available that are for inputting and editing Eten Chinese files under the cxterm, a Chinese xterm. My Zhuyin input method (ZY) has adapted the ETen keyboard layout in ETDOS, so it is compatible with ETDOS, a PC/MSDOS Chinese system. I also modified celvis so that it supports Eten Big5 code. I have tested them on Sun4, Ultrix, and Convex with the display devices NCD (X terminal) and VAXStation 2000 (workstation). The necessary files that make these work is available at ames.arc.nasa.gov (128.102.18.3) and chu.arc.nasa.gov (128.102.19.18) ~ftp/pub/etcxterm.tar.Z. So you can anonymous ftp over if you are interested.. ---Susie Chu net address: chu@ames.arc.nasa.gov UUCP: {ihnp4,ucbvax,nike,lll-crg}!ames!chu Post Mail Addr: Dr. Susie Chu Mail Stop 233-10 NASA/Ames Research Center Moffett Field, CA 94035 or Dr. Susie Chu 738 Sunshine Ct.
