[comp.windows.x] O'Reilly Volume 6, where and what is it ?

olav@nososl.UUCP (Olav Eide) (06/03/91)

Having just finished glancing through a reference list for books on X,
I noticed that the volume 6 of the O'Reilly series is missing.
Has it not been released yet, or what is the reason they jump from
volume 5 to 7 ?

Any information appreciated,
Thanks

They just released it... it is the Motif Programming Manual

Good point, I even did not know of Vol. 7. What is it about ?

I know volume 6 is going to reserved for Motif widget, but I have not see it
release yet.

volume 7 is about XView.

When Dan Heller's article, "The Xview Toolkit" ran in UnixWorld in the
June and Fuly, 1990 issues, his credit ran:

Dan Heller is an X programmer who is also the
	auther of the _XView_Programming_Manual_ pub-
lished by O'Reilly & Associates Inc. He is cur-
rently at work on the _Motif_Programming_Manual_,
volume 6 in the series of books from O'Reilly &
	Associates.
