Hi there, befopre I start I'd better say I'm using X11R3 libraries and include files under AUX on an Apple 2fx, I'm trying to write an application using X functions in C++ , using Gnus g++ compiler. I'm having major problems getting g++ to handle the release 3 files. I was told (perhaps incorrectly) that the WWL (widget wrapper library) was what I needed, as it would enable me to fix up R3 to work with g++. I duly FTPd it and on uncompressing it and reading its Release notes and READMEs I am now under the impression this is only good for motif with R3 and Athena with R4, however I want to use Athena widgets with R3, so basically I would appreciate (before I attempt to set up this WWL thing, and find out too late its no good) if some one would help me out by telling if 1) Release 3 stuff can be used with g++ 2) if so is WWL enough to do the fixing up if so whats neccessary - simply install ? 3) if WWL is not adequate, what package will fix this up for me ? I hope these questions make some sort of sense to some one out there, and sorry if I was somewhat long winded Thanks in advance Dave Dave O'Byrne ============================================================================= = email : DAVID%CSVAX1@IRUCCVAX.UCC.IE = When the floors of reception are = = snail : Computer Science Dept., = cleansed, man will see things as = = University College Cork, = they really are ... = = Ireland. = linoleum = =============================================================================
