[I've checked the FAQ and the documentation, and can't find an answer to this...any suggestions would be appreciated.] We have some Sun SPARCstation 1's running X11R4. xdpyinfo says that they're 1152 x 900 displays, and lists 90dpi as the resolution. The usable portion of the screen is actually about 14x11 inches, which is about 82dpi. Should we use 75 or 100dpi fonts? Does it matter? What are the tradeoffs? It seems that if we use 75dpi, the fonts will be slightly smaller than they should be, while if we use 100dpi they will be slightly larger. Any suggestions on which would be more readable?
